Trucker hats, but make ‘em chic

I’m selling trucker hats! Cute, chic trucker hats. Why? Because I really love accessories and I wanted one for myself and thought y’all might want in, too.

I have always had a love for and interest in fashion, but it wasn’t until I had an accessories internship at Lucky magazine and Vogue that I realized the power that accessories hold. I think a big way that personal style is communicated is through the use of accessories. A simple jeans and white tee canvas can be radically transformed depending on what shoes, belt, jewelry, bag, and head accessories you choose to include.

Post-accessories internships, I worked helping buy shoes for Zappos and had a blog (for all of 5 minutes) called Accessories Anonymous. I realize now that was an insensitive name, but the point is that the title of my blog was about accessories. Fast forward to 2015-2016ish and my friend Paige and I had a t-shirt line called Curated Cotton. These were tees, and not accessories but the takeaway here is that we created and sold merchandise. Two kids and a few years later, in the throes of the pandemic, I began making and selling mask chains, and later necklaces and bracelets on Etsy. You might be thinking that I switch things up a lot… and you’re not wrong. However, the common thread always remains the same: I like to create; I like to share what I create; I love fashion, and I am always intrigued by the versatility of accessories.

So here we are. The official start of Summer 2023 and I am so excited to share these trucker hats that combine all the things I am passionate about with you. What I love about these trucker hats is that they are what’s called a mid-profile fit - which means they look and fit like a baseball hat, but they are made of foam. This is the best of both worlds: the vibe of a trucker hat, with the flattering, more tailored, feminine silhouette of a baseball hat. Depending on how you style yours, they can be worn to the pool, on a jog, hiking in the mountains, to the park with your kids, or paired with a sundress to run errands. Trucker hats give off a cool, laid-back feeling, and isn’t this what we all want to channel in the Summer?!

I had a limited run of hats made by hand in Houston, Texas (by my old Curated Cotton screen printers!), and I am unsure if I will have more made, so snatch one up while you can, and please tag me in your cute hat-wearing pics!
